Peeling lacquer

On my, dear old red bus has got a problem Big Cry

Seems something is upsetting the lacquer and causing it to flake off Shocked

Has anyone else suffered this and manged to sort it out?

Otherwise any ideas on the best way forward, short of a trip to the body shop (not that we can these days)?
