| Possible bit of useful info for insurance |

Guys, like most of us, when renewing our car insurance we try one or two of the comparison sites. One question that these ask is how long have you held your license, and it’s typically a drop down menu with the highest number showing as 25+.
I don’t usually put in our driving license number.
So when doing er indoors renewal we got a best price of £296. Ok with that so went onto the actual insurer’s web site where, in answer to the same question you could put the actual date from which you had held your license, (in our case 47 years) price then reduced by £50. Yes please, have some of that thank you very much.
So worth making sure you put the correct timescales in as it saved us some money.

Good tip Al. Makes sense that the more thoroughly you set the stage, the better the quotes (might be!)
