Rain stopped play...

Following much swearing, knuckle rash and an exchange of envelope full of ca$h Wink my garage disco3 contents have swelled to more than just a tyre mountain, unfinished driving lamp electrics and bits of (unwanted) trim... Whistle

Sadly the onset of 'typical Manchester weather' has prevented fitment of 'new item' Big Cry

Many thanks to MX for allowing me first dibs Thumbs Up

How did you get that Expo rack by Mrs SN ...
thought that would have been a divorce case?
[or does she just think it's another base for the kids bunk beds?]

ronp - I played the 'birthday present early' game....

Fairly straightforward fitting of rails and rack this morning - about 90 minutes for the whole job...

Its getting there 8)

Now need to work out how to slip ladder and additional lights under the financial radar... Whistle

Thumbs Up Looking good, Steve Very Happy

As for the other bits - the rack is unusable without a ladder, and there will be terrible wind noise unless you get the holes filled with something light-sized..... Wink

Being in Edinburgh is a good thing, of course, despite the weather Whistle . It's a bit on/off today, had a few rain showers here and there but nothing bad enough to stop me cleaning the fleet (although it did rain quite heavily after a layer of wax and washed it straight off Rolling Eyes ).

There's set to be rain and sleet tomorrow but nothing to match the wading we were doing through town on Saturday... Shocked

And with artistic licence you can invert the recent one and stick them together for an effective Before & After Thumbs Up

As it has a dangerous speedo (ie in the middle) I assume its French

How, in these times of speed cameras, manufacturers get away with centre mounted speedos I do not know - it is so dangerous constantly flicking from watching the road in front of you to looking left to read your speed Rolling Eyes (so speaks a previous owner of such a vehicle)

Gareth, it's this:

so not your ideal wader but the theory was that if the Ka in front made it then it was worth a go... the brakes still work. Laughing

Steve - You're right although it's bright orange and crystal clear and, in this car anyway, you can usually make out what it reads without really looking down from the road at all (so speaks a less experienced but practising driver Rolling Eyes ) thus making it safer than looking down vertically to read the traditional dial.
As a beginner it also helps you pick up 'minors' as you go as you can't really dispute when it shows up '31' Big Cry
