Rear PDC beeps constantly |
|
Hi all
My rear PDC starts beeping the minute I engage reverse and start moving back wards . I have checked that all the sensors are clean and have no surface damage. Any ideas ?

Yip. Don't engage reverse. Try low range and go forward.
BTW, Happy New Year to you and Michelle. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

Have had the same problem several times and the dealer recently replaced the sensor assemblies at the rear - did that 2 weeks ago & the problem is back again; no logic to when it happens & just cleaning the sensors does not seem to be a fix

Hiene,
I had a similar problem some weeks ago when I damage the bumper offroad. I disconnected the sensors and gave the plugs a good blow with an air line, then refitted, been OK ever since...
worth a try Duncan
