Rear PDC reset?

Perhaps this is already discussed before but didn't find anything in the "search".

My rear PDC only gives a long continious beep instead of working properly.
In the RTFM they describe this problem and friendly advise me to contact my local 'stealer'.... Mad

Is there a way to reset them or an other procedure to get them working properly again???

thx

Hi There,

Mine has been doing the same for some time.

It also got worse since the last software update from Land Rover.

Its now virtually useless.

In speaking to my local LR dealer today, they tell me that it might need another System Software Update, to clear the rear PDC fault.

Another one to add to the list then!!

@Disco Doozle : Didn't you mention something about a naughty wall hitting your bumper??? Whistle Whistle Whistle

Maybe it's because you stay to long in the cat without driving it. Your wife phoned me yesterday in full panic that she couldn't find you. I said her to look in the D3. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

BTW PDC of my D3 front and rear works fine except when there is too much water going over the sensors.

OH Yeah,

Thats right mine also plays up more when its wet, at the rear.

Of course when we did the Land Rover Experince it did go in some quite deep water!! Whistle

But then if it fails when in water, its not much use in an off roader.

You can see that mine likes water in my Videos section!!!

I think we need a more rounded explanation about what exactly 'staying to long in the cat' means Shocked

Adam,

I also drive a westfield = super seven, also better known as a Caterham = Cat Wink

Concerning the PDC......it's a Landy thing....they do work propperly again.
I just backed-up towards a wall....continious beep all the way towards it.
Turned the PDC button on and off...drive forward....button on again....long beep....back to Drive, to Reverse, long beep and suddenly short beep......i drove back towards the wall.....beep beep beep.....beepbeepbeep.....beeeeeeep.

They work again.

Thumbs Up
