Hey redsails,

1) A complete tool kit - especially a full set of Torx, screw and nut drivers - I think all the bits in the D3 are metric. Can somebody confirm?

2) A decent wheel wrench - note that the LR wheel nut size (22mm for the D3) is NOT common. Most other brands use smaller nut sizes. If you need help cracking loose a wheel nut, anybody (other than a D3 owner) stopping to help will probably not have the correct size wheel wrench.

3) Spare bulbs

Below might be off-topic? Not exactly spare parts

4) Multimeter and spare wiring, connectors. With all the electrical bits in the D3, this will help in diagnosing any electrical problems.

5) A can of the good old WD-40

6) A plastic tarp or three - multi use from ground sheet to shade to river crossing hood blind to emergency blanket to privacy screen for the shy Very Happy

7) At least one good reliable torch with fresh batteries - I find a head lamp most convenient. It is not much fun changing a tyre while trying to hold a torch in your mouth!

8) Depending on how much you will be relying on GPS navigation - have a spare GPS. You can get a decent basic unit for around $200.

9) A separate Emergency food/water and first aid (disaster kit) - in a easily accesible location. In case of a vehicle fire, this is the FIRST thing you pull out of the car. This is not so essential if you are travelling in a convoy.

10) Spare beer

Cheers

Shocked

Does such a thing exist Question
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Hi Tristan,

I think the only way to describe it will be "adequate" beer.
Thumbs Up

With so many purchasing suspension sensor joining rods the dealers must think we are a cautious lot Whistle

Should have a working system of remotely adjusting rods in a couple of weeks. Wink
Rods are made and system needs to be installed and tested.

Hi Jeff,
Regarding the pollen filter... I was wondering if the initial failure was because the owner didn't put the A/C onto recirculate when traveling in dusty conditions? Comments anyone?
Cheers,
Rob

Maybe my question was missed in all the excitement of the Olympics?

Will the pollen filter clog up when you have the A/C set to recirculate (rather than the default "fresh air" setting)?

Cheers,
Rob

jonesy63 good question, I would assume that it would not if the AC worked the way we
are thinking. Would suggest to post this in the tech forum for wider coverage.

Especially hard to hold in mouth if it's a Dolfin torch ...
