Red V8

Just picked up my Rimini V8 HSE after a few years with the Defender and would just like to say these D3s are great. I knew they were good but not this good.

It seems that I'm in a minority when it comes to colour and engine but I think its good to be different. Having a V8 after the TD5 is a strange feeling and addictive, it certainly puts a grin on your face. I'm fortunate enough that I only do low mileage so the low mpg isn't too much of a factor. Hovering just above the 20mpg mark at the moment but thats been mostly from a fairly long stint on the motorway.

Wasn't sure on red at first but after seeing it I was hooked, it works well with the alloys and the silver on the side steps. Thinking about adding chrome mirrors and some of those chrome strips along the doors in the future.

Anyway, good to be different?

Andy.

P.S. I'll try and get a pic up over the weekend.

Congratulations!
Another v8 Disco3 in discoweb. And won't be the last Mr. Green
And the previous vehicle a td5, as always (and my case).

You won't regret that wonderful piece of engineering. I've heard that the soundproofing is so good that only the engine's good music is allowed to enter the cockpit. Now, enjoy it!

Andy, how those pics coming?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
