Removal of Dome light assembly

Can someone enlighten me on what the corrrect procedure is to remove this entire assembly? (before I break something Rolling Eyes )

 What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

Just pull down, its held by 3 clips vertically into a rib in the roof, so a straight vertical pull downwards is the way to go. Cheers

The dome is held by two metal clips facing the front and two plastic clips facing the rear (they do not bend). I placed a screw driver about an inch in from the side (front facing) felt for the metal clip and pushed rearwards once that side is loose do the same again on the other side. Very Happy You could also just pull it down from the front facing side and bend the clips, and then push them back as I did Whistle Stadt Panzer Power

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for this loom?

Finally had some time yesterday and easily removed the dome light assembly.... (thanks for the tips Thumbs Up !)

I found the other wiring loom hidden in the roof lining which I presume is for the rear air-con switches. Does anyone have a wiring diagram to identify these cables? (larger plug)
