Roof Box - Kamei Corvara

Very Happy
Purchased a 475 litre Kamei Corvara to fit onto my Disco3 with LR factory roof bars

It fits a treat, you need a extra fitting kit which slides into the LR roof bar.
The whole thing has German engineering quality about it, so I would recommend it Thumbs Up

I've got exactly the same set-up and taken it to the south of Spain. It's a fantastic piece of kit and really easy to remove and refit quickly.

Which kit did you need..

HI I am about to buy a similar corvera roof box, but apparently there are 20mm or 25mm size adaptors for the T track or a kit for attaching to up to 80mm bars.. which kit did you chaps use to fit to the standard LR cross bars?

Cheers, Frank

Frank, I bought the kit for attaching to the roof bars which makes the box sit higher on the rack. I would also be interested to know which adaptor gmangtr bought for the LR cross bars as it will look neater. Whichever way you go, the Corvara box is a great piece of kit and I believe now it opens both sides rather than only the one which is what I have.

OK - so you bought the U bolts that go under the bar? sounds like that or the bolt that slides into the T track will work. I'm trying to work out what size of bolt i need to connect. either set is only 10-15 quid on roofbox.co.uk
think I'll get the both side opening one, comes free with the 20mm bolts. I'll let you know how i get on.

Cheers

That would be good Frank. When I bought my box I don't remember any T fittings coming with it though.

I also have this roof box - it's great Thumbs Up
Bought with adapters - at least there are 2 mounts per corner. Did not dare to use T-track fitting as it has only one bolt coming into the box Wink
 D3 XS Manual - gone
