sagging rear roller cover

just noticed that when in extended position, one side sags - as if no tension.
chances are a spring has gone!
can the unit be opened and repaired?
or is a new one required?
cost - ?

They seem to go for about £15 or thereabouts

if vehicle under warranty then try that...

if not for a site fund donation i have a good s/h one here that i stole...removed...umm managed to get from sales Whistle .....

would like to transfer it via the old Disco3 courier as it would cost around a tenner to send and these have a habit of getting smashed on the way...

Anyone live near him with a car that IS in warranty Whistle

Would need to be only just inside warranty mind you, as there will be a date stamp somewhere on the assembly so they'll get a bit suspicious if you swap it with someone who has an 08MY

thanks all!
yep, it is out of warranty Big Cry
though I do have an aftermarket warranty - but somehow I don't think it'll cover it.

Interested in the one you have Nick. Thumbs Up
But it won't be worth the hassle for a 'disco3 courier service'.
Could you do super duper wrapping with it & I'll pay carriage + site donation?

Oh, by the way - it's not 'Geneva' colour coded is it?

I DON'T NEED ONE

Just went out to have a look [as I never really paid much attention earlier]
and it's all ok now.

When I had it off the other day I couldn't have located the base correctly in it's slot.
It's now clicked in and working fine.
