[For Sale] 2005 HSE 2.7 Auto For Sale
This car has been ours for a little over two years.
It was bought to transport our family and dogs to and from our home in the Midlands to our Static caravan in Somerset. It has covered about 40,000 miles doing just that but two of our daughters now drive and have their own cars and don't often travel with us now and we simply dont need such a big car anymore and we have replaced it with a Volvo XC70.
It is a nice grey colour and is in good condition. It has covered 148,000 miles. My wife is the third owner from new.
The car is MOT'd until January 2016.
It has a black leather interior with seven seats-two come up out of the floor in the rear for occasional use.
Comes with the expensive Harmon Kardon sound system that will play your I phone or I pod music.
Has the later phone software and makes and receives calls from the i phone using the cars stereo speakers.
Car is fitted with a Nokia phone and hands free kit in the centre console also which works,we have removed the sim card to put in my wifes new car but it can be put back in to demonstrate it working.Nokia handset is still in the cradle. Works on Orange/EE/T mobile. perhaps others.
I replaced the steering wheel that was worn with a very nice new original leather one and its a nice touch.
Sat Nav has later software disc installed and is pretty up to date and has the 4x4 function all enabled.
During our ownership because it carried the most precious things to us-children and dogs- we have maintained it very well. It arrived with a full service history and whilst with us has had:

Car is fitted with six spoke alloys and a full size matched spare is present.
We have not towed with the car.
We have been waiting for the registration change to take place at the DVLA to sell the car. Now all done.Taxation class is the last of the lower-£280 from memory before they went up drastically on the 2006 cars.
It is HPI clear and has had no expense spared since we bought it.
There are air deflectors fitted to the windows.
Comes with the odd scuff here and there and a couple of small nicks to the rear door card. Its been used as a family wagon......it comes with a good set of tyres.
I would like to try it on here first as i just cant face E bay. We would like £7,250 for it.
I have seen worse cars for sale at a lot more money in a lot worse condition and think that this is a fair price for the car considering its specification and its service and maintenance records. I live in Leicester and can pick up anyone from the train/bus airport if required as i work for myself.
