I was today quoted a price of £206.49 for my first service from an Authorised Land Rover service centre. From what I read here this seems very reasonable.
I will report back on after the service on Thursday to confirm this indeed what I paid, but if it is I will be very happy

Well got the old girl back from its first service at Team Valley Land Rover in Gateshead. Total price £206.27 including all parts, labor, VAT and loan car.
For comprisson I was quoted £250 at Stratstone Newcastle and £304 from Stratstone Durham (my local dealer). The Durham dealer promised to price match until I mentioned what Team Valley had quoted, which the checked and promptly withdrew the offer.
All seems good at the moment, and so far no compaints from me about Team Valley LR.

Sounds like a damn good deal to me, in this current climate S***tstones will have no customers left, and that's no bad thing either IMHO

Just had Tonka 45000 service at Stratstone's Aylesbury. Wasn't prepared to go local at Wooburn Green. They price matched at £299 all in which I suppose wasn't too bad. Did some replacing under warrenty of the bushes at the front, advised brakes need discs and pads front (90% gone + 70% rear) but will do that myself.

The question is do these 3 year service prices include a brake fluid change or not? I had a really good 45K deal from Cowley in MK on the advice of the forum, (£218 all in) only to discover they hadn't done a brake fluid change as I had not specified it. It is not part of the 'standard service' but recommended at 36K apparently. Richard
