[For Sale] RRS HSE Wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Zeros 255/55
These were on my D3 when I bought it and they are a bit tatty but a refurb would probably do them the world of good. Pictures show the wheels and the marks on them.
These are 19 inch wheels.
These are just off the car. I haven't cleaned them but they do clean up fairly well.
Complete with centre caps.
The tyres all have a little over 3mm so not much left but still legal.
Would prefer to see them go as a set for £200 collected or delivered by arrangement around the Central belt of Scotland.
I know these may go better on the RRS forum but I am not a member there.
This is what the wheels look like on a D3 when they are clean.
This is a closeup of the worst damage on the first wheel in the picture sequence. It measures about 2 inches.
Wheel 2 closeup.
Wheel 3 closeup.
Wheel 4 doesn't have any damage.

Cheap set of wheels. Seen a few sets on eBay this evening, both at £450+

Are these too expensive or too damaged?
I thought that a refurb at £75 a wheel (and only 2 of them would need a refurbish imo) to bring them back to new added to my asking price would have tempted someone.
They are just sitting in my garage going to waste so sensible offers considered.

Sorry I don't know what the offset and load rating are or where to find it.
The wheels came off a 2010 (I think) RRS HSE and were fitted onto my Disco 3 by the selling dealer.
The wheels were a straight swap and fitted without spacers or any modifications.
They were on the D3 when I bought it 4 years ago without any problems.
Not sure if that helps......
Just found this on the inter web. The first part in brackets is the part number. What follows may as well be written in hieroglyphics for all it means to me. It might be the info you are looking for:
(LR AH32 1007 AAW), 9J x 19EH2+, OFF 53
Thanks to Al Cope. I looked at the wheels and in addition to the numbers above the only weight I can find on there is LR012 860kg.

my guess will be offset 53 and load rating at 900kg - it should be stamped into the casting on the back of each alloy

Thanks for info, the 53 offset is correct but the load should be 940Kg for a Disco.
Could be insurance implications using under spec wheels.
Sorry but I can't take the risk.Displaced Yorkshireman.

No problem.
I wouldn't have taken the risk either had I known they weren't up to the job.

a lot of us have run 900kg RRS alloys - just check with your insurer, most dont have a problem with it, or charge a small surcharge for running "non-standard" rims.
dont just run away because it says 900kg, in fact thats still more than enough to keep the D3 off the floor.

I'd never worried about wheel or tyre load ratings until signing up here My D3 Build Thread
