Hi heine,
Ta for info re magnetic sheets. I used them for logos on 24 company vehicles but they blew off at 100 km per hour and thorn bushes lifted them off when off-road (we used 24 Suzuki Jeeps for electricity inspections in the rural areas around Durban and nobody Hi-jacked them - We previously used Nissan 1400 bakkies for the same job and lost 2 per day at times) The mag stickers also made a dull patch on the paint where they were attached, which I think was due to dust under the magnetic sticker, and the sticker vibrating. I had a bad experience with the plastic bonnet guard - a pebble got between the plastic guard and the bonnet while I was driving in the slateen and the vibration of the plastic guard on top of the pebble caused more damage on the bonnet than if I had had no guard. - not to mention the damage to my bonnet where the guard's mountings were fixed to the bonnet! Sorry, not an LR3 owner. Range Rover Sport HSE which lives off-road

I had VPS fitted a year ago to my V8HSE and also to my previous D3. I had the complete front done(full frontal),lights, fog lights, grill, quarter bonnet, rear door inside sill. Cost me $200. As we speak VPS is at my office applying it to my beloved's new Freelander. Awesome product, really protects the car. I have picked up a number of large stones, minor mark on VPS, major chip on windscreen.

I had the full frontal done on the FL2. This includes 30% bonnet, overflow onto fender, headlights, fog lights, part of grill, front bumper, and rear door wheel arch-inside car. This cost R2400-00 which is more expensive than my D3's price a year ago but it is apparently a new better 3m product iported from the USA.
Phone Kobus on 0836596312. He is in Kyalami.

OK got car back . Looks fine except there are noticeable join lines on the doors etc as the sheets used are not big enough to do a whole door .

Haha, sorry I grew up in Michigan & found that humorous. Saying 'out in the bush' in Michigan is sorta like saying 'in the jungle' in Florida swamp I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
