'Swing Away' Bike rack

Any of you USA guys n' gals, have the LR 'swing away' bike rack from the LR accessories brochure?

If so what are your thoughts? Yes or No?

Does it rattle around a lot?

Many thanks.

I don't know anything about the LR model but either the Yakima or Thule full swing type carriers work very well and have been recently redesigned. They completely swing to the right side to allow full access to tailgate area. won't work if you have a tire carrier that swings out though.

You might like it but I don't like climbing over crap to get in the back of an suv.

the swing away gets the bikes out of the way, to the side, allowing a neat clear rear area.

The LR bike rack is manufatured by Thule. I believe it's simease is a 98something. We haven't had any complaints yet.

Sorry - I should have added that you would need the 2" square tow hitch receiver Landrover part KNB500023

Thanks peeps. I intend to get the tow bar and bike rack from LR USA. Just wondering about the legalities of it really.

Proper post ride recovery beverage of course!

For people with a rear spare tire carrier, the Thule rack that mounts to a spare tire, like on a Disco II, works great as well. I had one of these Yaks before we got the tire carrier and like how now, the bikes and tire all swing out of the way due to the way the tire carrier swings out the right and locks.
