It was a toss up between a 3.6 or 4.2
I already had a dead 2.7 lying around and a reasonably priced 3.6 came up
Would still love to do a 4.2 though. Upgraded SC pulley, fancy exhaust and a remap for 450bhp 8) My D3 Build Thread

are you fitting any other of the goodies from the rrs like the Acc or the dynamic roll bars etc or are you just going for the engine on its own? Current

Couldn't have the 7 seat family car outdrag the "Sport" now, could we
Pretty sure my 7 seater family car will (theoretically!) outdrag a TdV8 RRS, but then it's got a proper engine <ducks>

Is it a R63 AMG? The tdv8 sport isn't fast, but has a certain unstoppability.
I assume they didn't put the tdv8 in the disco for branding reasons, I can't imagine they didn't for performance reasons because presumably the disco would be slower, even with the same engine due to aerodynamics and mass? How does the equivalent tdv6 disco and sport compare? 2008 TDV8 Sport HSE
1973 SIII Lightweight

Nothing that exciting!
I was poking a little fun, according to the numbers my petrol V8 D3 is ever so slightly (0.1s) quicker to 60 than the TdV8 RRS...
