Second Connector Question is Two days!

Hello all,

I have another connector questions, I remove the CJB for a second time, the first being to fix a leak from the sun roof drain. When I put it all back the car kept saying the tail gate was open, it wasn't.

I tracked this down to pin 10 on connector C0586L one of the terrible two connectors behind the board. So I took it all out again, with trepidation, to see if I have bent that pin or the cable was broken. It was all good and there was continuity from the tailgate lock to pin 10. So the cable was intact with no breaks.

I then noticed that the clamp on the connector was broken, see pictures, it should be a full circle with no gaps. So I'm hoping this isn't clamping the connector correctly and so isn't making the circuit.

So after all this ramble my question is does anyone know where I can get a new connector and clamp from?

Many thanks for spending the time to read to this point.

Hello,

I couldn't find one on the net so decided to try to fix the one I had.

Not very successful but when I got it back in I pushed it home and it seated just like the other one. All back together and all issues gone Very Happy

I do not want to take that fuse board out again!
