RRS screen

Has anyone cut the yellow wire to make the display look like a RRS?
Did it work or what was needed to get it all to work?

It works in 90% of cases.

The display will be dimmer which means it is difficult to read in sunlight conditions.

If you intend to fit a reverse cam (which is the main/only benefit) then you will need to edit the ccf file, which requires an advanced tool ~ £450

Looking at the screen that shows the vehicle performance only shows blank fields. Is this something that comes to life after being programmed?

Performance ? Like MPG? This should be working. I assume you have turned the ignition on II

The MPG etc on main screen is hit and miss if it works, depands on firmware version of head unit. some work some don't.

I did some digging when I did mine and couldn'tfind a definative answer to what Firmware version mpg etc works on
