Thule EasyBase system

Hi - have read the thread concerning the MaxxRaxx bike carriers and trawled various other subjects so apologies if this has been asked before Rolling Eyes

Has anyone had experience of using the Thule EasyBase system (adaptable for bike carrying or a Backbox) with the removable towball? - Is it stable/easy to use etc?

Any info gratefully received. 55 D3 (Mine All Mine!)

I use the Easybase system with a detachable towbar. I have the 3 bike carrier and also use the back box.
It is very stable although on paper it doesn't sound like it's going to be. I prefer it to a roofbox as there is much less drag.
