Im mid repair right now... getting in under the steering wheel and working above the pedals requires a LOT of flexibility 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

How's it going? Going to have a crack at mine at the weekend as a preventative thing - got a syringe and the glue - just need 24hrs for it to cure.

Oh the joys of owning a D3 |

Great thread, thank you for the advice and pictures.
I have four, yes four D3's (I use them for work, it's a long story) all was well until I left them parked up for the past two months while working away.
All started, some with the aid of a jump pack and I set about running them up the road and back, well I now have three out of four with the dreaded system faults, a quick check on the Hawkeye and they all show a steering angle sensor and brake light switch fault. Switch replaced and grope around the steering column and all three had a loose sleeve and off the scale steering angle readings.
So my limbo technique now mastered I have just finished the first fix and cleared down the fault codes, reset the steering angle and all is fine, just two more to go and hopefully four fully operational D3's ready to work, well until the next dreaded ding from the sensor alarm..
