Oil leak!

Hello,

I bought a 2012 Disco 4 a month ago and I love my "new" car. But now I noticed some oil spots on the pavement while parking. I did not care before but today I checked after a drive and I saw oil drops together with the normal Air condition drips under the car (see image and arrow where the drops are). I checked the oillevel and it is above middle so that seems to be ok. But can it be something from the gearbox that I can not check levels on?

Should I be really worried and go into a dealer to check it? I am going on a smaller trip this weekend and this worries me alot.

Thanks for the help!

Hi, looks like engine oil? I'd get it checked before it becomes serious. You should fill in your car profile then the forum can get a 'head start' on helping you Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply. I do not know if I can see a difference in motoroil and any other oil. But it looks like the oillevel is a little bit lower today. Hmmm.

Automatic transmission fluid is normally red. Diesel engine oil goes black quickly. Get it cleaned and checked out Thumbs Up
