FBH with Webasto 1533 and Remote Control, strange issue!!.

Hi All

I had my Webasto Timer 1533 installed on my Disco since 2009, working like a charm.

However, looking a the different remote control threads I decided to install a remote control unit, by following the "DIY install of FBH timer mod + optional remote PDF" - thanks

I've followed the instructions to the dot, and when I press the remote control, the FBH makes all the right noises however within a minute or so, it shuts down.

But when I set it via the timer, it works!.

I have noticed that if I press the "flame" button on the Webasto timer to start the FBH, the same problem occurs, noises and them it shuts down.

I have run the JLR, and tested the system - no issues there.

this is the remote i purchased: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-4-Channel...SwkNZUnTg0

And it is setup to close momentarily, like a second or so.

Have you got any ideas what could be the problem pls?

Many thanks

Lucio

It takes a D3 a lot longer than 10 minutes to go to sleep - around 30 minutes!

Hi Guys;

I have also tried in the morning, like today, the car was in sleep mode, after pressing the remote, made all the sounds but after few minutes it stopped.

I don't even get the normal smell of diesel or smoke, just the fan noise and that's it.

thanks
