The next ******fault!! Might be sorted!!
Before I've had time to fix the EGR fault, another problem......as soon as I turn on ignition, long beep from the PDC sounder and PDC light on switch flashes. Have read the codes and I am now the proud owner of.....
Parking Aid
B1B57-11 (2F) Front sensors power circuit - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
B1B58-11 (2F) Rear sensors power circuit - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
As its both front and rear, am I correct in thinking that the PDC module is likely to be the culprit and, if so, how does that load space side panel come off!!.....arghhh - should've kept the D2!Best Regards,
Dave.

Nope. You have a sensor which has shorted internally, usually it's a front sensor
Unplug each PDC loom one at a time, and see which loom removes the SC to Ground fault My D3 Build Thread

Yep the headlight does have to come out and there are two connected there! It's one of them!! Sorry not sure which one.
Also I thought the iid tool could check which sensor?
previous LR D3 HSE, RRS HST, RR Evoque Dynamic Lux.

The front PDC connector is behind and below the drivers side headlight on a UK car.
Take out the drivers side not the passenger side and you should see this:
One of the connectors is for front fogs, the other is the PDC connector.Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

When I had a sensor fail the Iid tool told me exactly which one It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Well that's tomorrow's job sorted then!
As for the IID tool, I just get that error code and listing live values just shows all the sensors at reading 2.5m - unless I am doing something wrongBest Regards,
Dave.

Unplugged the rear sensors first, fault changes, no beep on ignition on and the fault changes to the expected long beep once I've selected reverse! Close examination f the rear I situ sensors reveals one of the sensor ends is lose and the wires disconnected inside!
Note to self - don't let the E.Es pressure wash the bumper if I visit them again!!
Thanks everyone for your assistance.....now just need to sort the EGR fault and I'm a happy bunny!Best Regards,
Dave.
