having issues with park brake. was replaced less than 12 months ago. motor is running - can hear it trying to lock on and back off but nothing occurs.
message on dash reads Park brake off - lift switch to activate
Anything likely to have come loose?

The shoes may need cleaning and re-adjusting. There is a lever on them that can seize up as well.
