Safety question regarding suspending D3 for maintenance

Hi all

I need to replace the rear prop on my D3

Would it be safe with front wheels on ramps and rear of the vehicle on two axle stands rated at 3 metric tonnes each?

Only after recommendations.. feel free to ask for a disclaimer Laughing

I don’t think you need the front on ramps

Cheers buddy, yes the ramps are used regularly at the front so no probs there, rated around 6T I think

I only have two axle stands and two ramps, could most likely do it with just the stands but I like plenty of room to work in Laughing

Best to get it as high as possible those rear bolts can be a pain to undo and need a good breaker bar well line did but I’d recommend a rattle gun so much easier to undo things

I have replaced one on the floor with the suspension in its highest postion, wasnt a problem but as said before the bolts are very tight
