Off road pay and play in the Midlands

Hi all,
I've just brought my first ever landrover (disco '06). Where can I go in the Midlands to pay and play off road?
I'm in Coventry, Cheers Kev

Have a google for Kirton off road center. Based near Gainsborough which is Notts / Lincs border.

600 acre stone quarry with routes for every type of 4x4.

thanks for the offer. If it wasn't a six hour round drive for me I would be there for sure - plus the Doris would not be able to survive without transport for a whole day. Shame really because I would prefer to have someone holding my hand for the first time Embarassed

Thats the dark side Kev.... it's also just sitting around talking, not driving, now if thats your idea of pay and play Shocked

Also these pay'n'play sites are bash'em/crash'em friendly - not somwhere that'll be D3 friendly Sad

Hi and Welcome,

I live at the other end of the M69, the nearest for us are the Sibbertoft play days.

Good luck.

Sibbertoft is ok if you take neccesary precautions first i.e. walk the track first, well used by the Suzuki brigade...
Avoid the water though...

Some very deep rutts and not somewhere i've been back to, because of this

I agree with you. I have the wrong vehicle for whats on the utube clips and would be a muppet to try that stuff. And also those blokes look really tough types. What I need is somewhere less challenging but more than the high kerbs at Tescos....

Pay-n-Play days can be risky with a shiny motor. I am looking at hiring Tong for another private D3 event in February, maybe with enough notive you could make a weekend of it?

Well worth the drive. At a push you make it there and back in the day from Cov.
