Dog guard
My 8 month old chocolate Labrador seems to grow bigger by the day and now is too big for the crate we have used since having him
I am looking to fit a dog guard and a split divider to allow space for the dog but also allow us to put other things in the boot
I have looked at both the travall and guardsman guards and dividers and both look pretty similar and are similarly priced
Has anyone got either of these or can advise which would be the best option
Thanks
Steve

I've had both Guardsman and Trav All!!!!
Bought a Guardsman to start with which has now been returned to the maker. It was advertised as being compatible with the load space cover - it absolutely isn't!!!! The thing was a rubbish fit; the side brackets were a different shape to one another which meant it fitted unevenly and the way in which it's designed to fit meant that it pushed down on the window sill trims hard enough to displace them. I would not recommend this one at all. No problem with Guardsman taking it back though. I sent a complaint email and they volunteered to have it back straight away.
I bought a Trav All to replace it and they are chalk and cheese. It fits fine, it is compatible with the load space cover, doesn't put undue pressure on any of the trim and is a little cheaper. I think the finish is better as well. I will recommend this one.
… and a quick look at the guardsman site shows the kit will never be compatible with the loadspace cover … but the blurb still says it is !

Far better, more flexible and less faff, to have a cage like a TransK9 pupose designed to fill half the space so you can use one third row seat. Also contains all the dirt, smells and moisture in the cage. Much better and safer for the dog.....
Second hand ones come up quite often - check the sales thread out

Never have used the 3rd row seats and it'll require a big old dog cage to fit three in Bracco Italiano boys!!!!

TransK9 do a full size cage and Lintran do a custom built cage that fits the whole boot space. Can get six golden retrievers in mine for short journeys or 4/5 for long journeys - plenty of room for three chubby bracco's .
