air suspension ecu

hi I have a problem with the air suspension on my d3 does anyone know if I change the air ecu will it need to be programmed to my vehicle or is it a plug and play unit Thumbs Up also would a unit from my 2013 d4 work in my 2005 d3 thanks

You just need to recalibrate the susp in the normal way as far as I can recall.

Are you sure its kaput?

no I don't know if its faulty but have run out of things to try to resolve the current problem I have, was thinking of swapping from my d4 to the d3 just to eliminate the ecu or I have seen used on ebay for £35 so worth a punt if its a plug and play

Its a good while since I changed one and can't recall if it needed coding, I think it might have but if I recall correctly it did work anyway despite a dtc !

No, they are not plug and play, and also not interchangeable between D3/D4
