Warning light steering sensor |
|
Hi all.
Left the trusty D3 in the hands of the wife for a couple of days. She picked me up last night and said a warning light had been on, and a red flashing light on the dash. It was all clear when she drove us home, approx 10 miles.
The warning light was the steering angle sensor, orange circle with an arrow at the end and a triangle in the middle, also the red flashing light was one of the two small white LED types at the bottom of the display.
I'll get the iid out later and read the codes, but generally what causes this fault to pop up ? I've had the car three/four years and it's never done this before.
It seems to have gone away now, but no doubt it'll be back unless I get it sorted.
Thanks

No fault codes related logged in the ECU's
As you say it's the DSC warning... I didn't know that at first......I think she may have accidentally disabled it by pressing the button on the dashboard, it then reset itself on the next off/on cycle.
Thanks
