| Rear Air Suspension Issue |

Looking for some advice on this problem on my D3 V8,
whilst driving the other day I could hear the compressor giving short bursts, then the yellow dash light for air suspension lit up, I only have a Faultmate code reader at the moment and saw the following
C112F Air spring valve - Mechanical failure - actuator is stuck open
C1130 Air spring air supply - Algorithm based failure - signal has too many transitions/events
so I cleared the reports and the yellow light was gone and continued on my way, did about 6 miles no further issues, when I got home I checked the code reader and no more reports, I decided the cycle access height / normal height / extended height, I noticed at access height the the pump was still going on and could feel the rear going up and down. I stepped outside the car and watched the rear moving up and down even though access height was still selected.
I then re selected normal height and the car moved up the pump ran for a bit then stopped, then selected extended height and experienced similar to access height. During all this the 2 error reports came back which I cleared, would it be fair to say the rear valve block is the problem?
Also if that's the problem when changing the rear valve block is just a case of putting the D3 in normal ride height jacking the rear near side corner and place axle stand there, wheel off and swap out the rear valve block, will the body lower when the pipes are removed?

If you put your axle stands under the chassis rails ( normal procedure usually) then the body can't move as you've effectively supported that as well. 1996 Defender -died (now in landrover heaven😇)chassis to ashes , rust to dust !

I would remove and clean the valve block first, might just need a service.

V8man and Flack thanks for the reply's, just waiting for the rain to stop and will get the valve block off and check the inside for dust, I have a new spare block and might just use that then I can rule out that part of the system

Just thought I would update the thread, so I inspected the rear valve block and I did change it for my new spare, looks like the block was original so was due for a change, the fault was not the block but the electrical connector that "clicks" onto the block, it would not fasten on with a click so was sliding off the block.
I need to find a connector from an old loom, does anyone have one to sell D3 4.4 V8 2005 sadly now gone
