Hi,
Do you know if it is possible to add new points of interest. I have got loads of them for my tomtom but would like to add them onto my D3 Nav. I've done a search and can't see any info on this, although I feel sure this would have been discussed somewhere.
Maybe Wiggs will come along with a definitive answer! I get my poi's from pocket GPS world - worth a look if you're interested in Navigation.

I assume it's ok to plug another site? It's not my site! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Unfortunatly not ..have been looking into this for a few years ( not only with LR disks )
I can quite easily add / remove files from the disks .
Problem is the file system is KWI ..and have never found any software that will allow you to change the files
Its not an ideal solution anyway ..as you would have to burn a new disk every month or so to keep up to date (especially with speed camera POI's )
You need to finish off your link ..it has the last bit missing G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I was interested to see if the KWI issue had come up anywhere else, so have been doing a bit of web searching in the last half hour. KWI being the file extension for a KIWI file i just learnt
It would appear that a number of car forums are grappling with this. The most useful post I found was on the corvette forum (the link is here), if you look about 2/3rds of the way down there is a very long and detailed post, which someone of a more technical nature (i.e. Wiggs ) might find interesting and hopefully useful, and can perhaps provide some comment on I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
