Retro fit heated windscreen
Hi does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade to a heated screen. My focus has one and it is excellent. I know they are an option but is the wiring there on all models? Just requiring screen and switch? Thanks

I got cracked screen due to stone hitting it back home and upon calling fitter requested to fit heated screen
they delivered pilkington for 170 quid plus a bit of labour
controller off ebay costed me 30 all works the charm
as i can see yours is S model so should have way more options to be enabled then my base model 5 seater but wiringis all there just needs a glass and controller unit

oh you might as well check whether you have relay installed in fuse box in engine bay
mine did as basic model so I guess yours will have one too

Quick couple of questions on this. Was the harness already fitted and what relay is for the heated screen? I fancy fitting the heated screen to mine too.
Cheers.
Oh mine is badged as an S but is the spec of a base 7 seater Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Apart from the new screen, what other parts are required to do this upgrade?

try lrparts.ru as there are a few models of that controller panel and yes it needs to be one with front screen switch on it
