Help! Broken down

Hi
In Tescos Bordon - broken down
Won't start
Gave half a crank and stopped
I assumed battery
Went and got one
Still won't start
Imobiliser?
Everything is working
Locking
All I have is a bong sound and a red light under Rev counter

RAC on way
Sigh Yes another one...

Very similar post made yesterday, bad connection at the battery by the looks of it, but if you have tried a new battery then I'd presume you know the connections are good.

If yes, is the cambelt ok ?

Hi everyone
Thanks for the replies apologies for the slow reply but phone battery died!
I fitted new battery
Still dead
RAC guy was an Ex Land Rover Portmouth Mechanic!
Main fuse for starter under bonnet
Swapped and worked
Not sure if it will happen again so bought some spares from Keith Gott
Home now!
Plug it in later and see what it shows if anything
