It's exceptionally rare to replace the highline system as it a complicated and difficult task as the head unit is the master controller for the fibre optic system (MOST bus).

A few have re-loomed the fibre and stowed the existing head unit somewhere else but in truth it is best to leave it all well alone.

No really, leave it alone.

Thumbs Up

If you have a single CD low line head unit this is viable, but if you have the high lines 6 CD head unit it is indeed exactly as Robbie states.

Check with your existing tablet how it is charged. If this is the only problem, you can handle this with a good charger.

Normally these tablets only charge in USB-mode, you have to get it to charge in AC-mode. That depends heavily on the cable and the power supply you're using. If the tablet doesn't recognize the power supply as AC, you will only get 500mA at best, that's not enough for a quick charge.

You need to get a good charger, that supplies around 1000mA to 1200mA, than it is AC mode and will work relatively fine.

My suggestion would be, don't get a DoubleDIN, go and look for a good tablet (the old Nexus7 is fine for this). Should work much better than the chinese Censored
