Coil sprung D3

Anyone upgrade the suspension on a factory coil sprung D3 to give it more off road capability?

i did KingSprings on last bus

progressive springs did the job to prevent boat like feeling on turns and dealt much better with big load at the back on trips.

used std LR shocks with it as well so only cost was swap of coils

not noticed any excessive wear on other suspension components over next few years of driving

Lifting a coil sprung D3

Thanks for that, I will have a look at King Springs, the second photo looks as if you have a bit more ground clearance, The rear box on the exhausts has taken a bashing in rutted fields.

progression of KIngSpring gives round 50 mm more clearance

u can look at OldManEmu coils and few more i guess available now.

Many thanks, I had seen the conversion from air to coil, the penny never dropped all-makes sense now.
