Hi,
Thought id share a little info as I've been on receive mode of late from many in terms of advice and assistance especially from Disco_Mikey and Flack - cheers guys.
I safely removed 4 of the 6 glow plugs and 2 remained stuck and wrung inside the head. After removing the core go the glow plug, i drilled using a good 4mm bit into the inside of the glow plug sleeve and then increased to 4.5 then 5mm. This way allowed the bit to centre itself on the inner sleeve of the glow plug and thereby keeping the alignment ok.
Next i used an easy-out (a 5.5mm bit will do) and went down to the outer thread edge of the threaded part of glow plug.
Use an M6 tap to tap the inner sleeve of glow plug as far down as you can without approaching the tip.
Clean out the swarf regularly.
Use and M8 or tapered M8 to clean the old glow plug threads out of the cylinder head threads and the remains go into the inner glow plug.
Clean out again - use the 4 mm bit.
Thread a nut onto a long M6 bolt, place a 13mm socket against the cylinder head with the aperture aligned to allow the bolt thread through it into the glow plug - a few washers is a good idea between the nut and the socket.
Tighten the nut against the washers and socket and it will pull the glow plug sleeve out.
Both came out clean without leaving any damage nor debris into the engine (you'll know as the lower glow plug sleeve is fully intact.
The second actually came out as i was tapping the M6.
