Only when it needs to be the mini bus, two or three times a year. Always handy to have them tucked away for those occasions though. D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

With my mat and boot tray it couldn't really be an instantaneous thing, would need to leave that stuff at home as its hard to fold without damaging it, never mind the dog guard
Maybe some design could have got around these issues, but although the car does have some great points there seems to have been a few half wits employed in certain R&D areas

I have run a number of 7 seaters for about 16 years and the discovery is pretty good. The worst one for me is dropping the spare. I'm to old to know everything......

I think your biggest problem DT is your load liner and boot full of stuff I have swmbo trained not to carry too much now after d2 got nicked with a load of stuff in including her du Barry boots that insurance only covered up to £500 its amazing how much value you can soon have in there
Not sure what you would do with this
We have a rubber mat and I roll it up
Move parcel shelf thing
Flip up the backs then the bases simples don't try do any thing but clear the boot from the tailgate its hard work Club original turbo
161k and counting
general AT's, oval timer, blanked egr's, silicone intercooler hose's

We always have a load of gear when en route to wherever, only for the weekend or trip mind you, but that is when Sod's law dictates something will go wrong. The items we carry are not necessarily heavy but bulky, but that doesn't matter it all has to come out to get to the winch and if its peeing with rain it's no fun

Use ours quite a bit. When you have young children you're forever ferrying children from clubs and football ETC! It's a right royal pain in the arris having to take the dog guard and the load liner out and then moving the load cover!
Another problem is the lack of boot space with the rear seats in use. Hey ho! I'd still not change it, we all love the D3. You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

Only ever used the third row for funerals - and no-one has died recently. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

If you got a decent dog cage - then you only to take the cage out and out the seats up - simples

Coffin will fit fine if second and third row seats down, sometimes even with outside seat in second row up which is very handy. Seven seats is when following a hearse. We got the car because of the rear seats, with four kids they are used all the time and now we have a dog one rear seat is left down to make room for his travel crate. We have in the past had seven adults it disco and everyone was surprised how comfortable they are.
