D3 - Double trouble Steering lock & Auto box

Has anyone ever had an issue with the steering being stuck on as well as the auto box being stuck in park? Exclamation

You may already have tried this but if not, hold your foot on the foot brake and switch the ignition on then try moving the gear lever.

If that doesn't work, or even if it does, have a look at this thread on how to change the gear linkage that often seizes up and causes the sort of problems that you are having.
