AUTEL MaxiDiag MD808Pro or icarsoft i930

I'm looking to buy a scanner for my Disco 3 diesel but I don't want it locked to the vin and I'd like the option to use it on other vehicles. I'd also like to upgrade my Landy to a Discovery 4 at some point. Does anyone have experience using the Auto MD808 Pro? I've heard good things about the icarsoft i930 but it is locked to Land Rover/Jaguars only.
