Many thanks for all the suggestions.
No I did not check the roof before purchase
Only noticed them when I got the ladder out to clean the whole car. Now if i was 6ft 7 might have spotted them.
As mentioned dealer is fixing new door seals on Wednesday - I don't think it is correct that they sell a car with holes in the roof. Guess they did not check either.

Well, if you are never going to fit an expedition roof rack, then you could ask the dealer to replace the trims with new undrilled items. I don't think they are expensive.
Although I think new D3 come with the trims pre-drilled and blanked?

just tell the dealer to replace the trim strips, shouldent be a problem CLUB "Ah Shor it'll be grand"

They do indeed. Plugged with a little plastic plug. I'm sure they'll be able to insert a pair Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
