Undertray Question
Hi,
I am missing at least one undertray from my 2.7SE Auto 2007 Disco, looking to buy the relevant part(s) from eBay, but struggling to work out which one(s) I need and so looking for some advice please.
I have added a photo to show the front of the car, I’m missing what ever connects to the black plastic moulding back. I’m guessing this is what is often described as the “main engine undertray”, photo attached.
However I have also had problems with salt off the road corroding the gear change linkage resulting it it being difficult to move between park/drive/reverse. The local garage rubbed down the moving parts and coated with grease but advised the root of the problem is a missing under tray. What I do not know is whether this is the same undertray that connects to the front or a different one.

Hi mate,
In total on a standard D3 you should have a total of three guards. Going front to back....
Plastic steering guard, this is the black plastic one that you can see from the front of the car as in your photo
Then theres the sump guard, a smaller square sheet that fits between the two main structural beams
Then the main sump guard slots in behind it, this one extends for almost half the car length
So it depends whether you have a big or small hole under the car as to which one you’re missing

There's also the plastic / ABS guard under the transmission - covers the gear linkage on the auto box (IIRC).
These often break off or left off in "error..."
Part number - LR031643I see no ships........
