Well I have read that cos TDV6, TD5, & TDV8 run their fuel system extremely hot veggie is NOT advised. However, when serving in the gulf, US Marines ran protection vehicles on AVGAS, aviation fuel. Funny that.
What I know is that Veggie oil under heat will thin out, and cos pressure probs in the system, and injectors.
Sorry I cannot help more

D3 too suficitated, too fussey, too complicated, too meney computor conected sensors, but possible to convert but the mods and cost would far outweigh the benifit,
JUST DONT DO IT
To do this a old school old fashoned diesel is the most practicle way to take advantage of veg oil

Wayne, I dont think used veg oil is a propersition as you wast so much time going around geting the stuff,
What I am looking for is a bulk supply of canola oil. Been reserching how to convert and the Disco is a no go, but my Tojo HJ75 with old school diesel is perfect, conversion is not much trouble and seems feasable to run a dual system ie. start on diesel or bio and when hot switch over to hot veg oil. So ready to go when a good sourse of oil is found.
As to chinese restraunts in Dickson and cooking oil I am not supprised

Another thing you have to do is change the fule filter more often as the bio fuel tends to block the filter quicker
