Wheel Arch Eyebrows

Tried to take the offside one off at the weekend to replace a broken clip (it sits slightly proud at the forward end)

After undoing everything I could see still couldn't work out how to free it off???

Help? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
