I couldn't say, you would need to get the dimensions of the winch mounting they are all slightly different.
That winch would get you out of any situation but you could get away with a smaller one.
If you use a snatch block and double the winch cable back to the vehicle you can double the amount of line pull so dont go mad spending lots of money on a winch.
How often do you plan on using it? You never off road alone so there will always be somebody there to help you out anyway.Andrew

Unlike most here, it’s not for the car.. I want to use the car and winch to raise poles on a big festival tent!
Usually I stake a winch to the ground and shackle the hook to a hinged dolly at the base of the pole and help pull it up.
But it is a waste of space and energy and patience having one loose. So I want a neat one on the car. Mobile and minimalistic.
So I want it to be tucked away
Can you please link me to a winch that would most likely fit regardless of mounting? Or advise the best combination?
Don’t mind spending a bit more for a straight forward end result. Ideally wanting a simple set upDisco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

Sorry you need to choose a size of winch that fits the mounting or get a mounting designed to fit the winch.
In your case i would buy the winch bumper you like and then get the winch that will fit it.Andrew

Any winch with standard bolt footprint but with a separate solenoid box will fit. The one in the link won’t fit as it’s solenoid is mounted above the winch.

The Rhino winch’s have standard bolt holes and the box is moveable, so not fixed on the top. That being said, if you mount on the side bracket like with RLD’s mount and others available the cables will need lengthening as I found out yesterday (test fit in garage). Just waiting for all the cable, crimps and stuff to come this week, final test build and then will be stripping down the D4. Have decided to go with Albright isolator linked to internal switch as well for ease of use.RLD CB Bracket

Grrrr - first try today (pulling a post out concrete) and the damn car just dragged its self instead of pull the post out 😅
Do we have any winch pros here that would be kind enough to tell me if this would happen on grass, using the winch to pull the bottom of a ‘big top’ marquee that weighs 1.5 tonnes with the roof on top?
Or a way of anchoring the car to the ground maybe a car stand to stop suspension damage and some breeze blocks jamming the wheels maybe? Or stake a chain to the ground and link the tow bar?
Worrying it will slide on grass now when I’m trying to erect the tentDisco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

If you use a snatch block attached to the concrete post and secure the end of the winch cable to a suitable anchor point like a tree you will half the amount of pull on your vehicle.
There is a real art to using a winch I'm sure there are a few training videos on YoutubeAndrew
