Windscreen washer problem.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem before I take it in to let the the guys at Farnells have alook at it.
I've got a '55 plate HSE and just recently the front, rear and headlight washers have gone one the blink. The funny thing is though if you turn the engine off and then back on the front and the headlight washers will work for 2 squirts but not the back ones. This will work everytime you turn the engine off and on no matter if you do it after an hour or after 30 seconds. They will only give it 2 squirts though and then not work at all. I know the water is full as I topped it up myself so any ideas anyone.

Yes, the headlight jets are intermittent, and will only work when needed to save water. It's every X number of windscreen sprays I think (someone will hopefully fill in that blank!).
If you're in an off road setting it's more frequent.
Turning the engine off resets it and you can start again.2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Yeah but the windscreen washer doesn't work either even when you press the specific spray button.

100% sure your fuse has blown. Fuse number 11 behind the glove box. Replace with a 15 amp item, which will be more robust when there is frost about. Its a bit awkward to get to, so maybe get your dealer to do it.

HinduStan this isn't when we've had the cold weather and you have summer concentration screenwash?? In that case you'll have popped the fuse and need a bit more concentrated screenwash. If all the above is the case and fuse is OK, it may be that the screenwash is frozen in the pump. I had the same problems before Christmas when it was down to -12.5degC

I find the washer jets are also liable for blocking...always unbloking mine with a safety pin!
