One model of electric brake controller that is commonly used on the LR3 is the Tekonsha P3 unit, model number 90195. It mates up to the LR3 with a custom "Ford" adapter cable, Tekonsha part number 3035P. No wire cutting or splicing is necessary - just mount unit and plug adapter cable in.
