You're not taking a day off tomorrow to meet the convoy to The Peak Distrcit are you? It would be a 'virtual friday' then! Thursday (afternoon) always feels like the start of weekend for me as its when I go back up north!

I get this feeling i'll be getting a phone call at work just after lunch tomorrow informing me of a 'family emergency' Wink

The build up to the weekend always starts at 1201 on a Wednesday, cos it's all downhill from there Laughing Laughing

Oh well, I am looking forward to the first drive as I'm picking it up from Marshalls of Peterborough and driving it back to north of York.

So if you see a D3 driver with a large grin heading north on the A1 mid Friday afternoon........ guess who?

I spent weeks reading and re-reading the handbooks before I got my car last September; by the time I collected it, I knew more about it than the dealer did although browsing through this great site shows that few of the dealers (or the LR technicians for that matter) seem to know much about the car at all!!!

Hope you get your car today OK SimonH and that you can join us happy band of brothers who have had nothing at all go wrong with theirs.

I'm just a tad curious though why you bought it in Peteborough yet you live North of York Question I lived just South of Peterborough until last September and the Disco I had my first test drive in came from Marshalls in Peteborough but I bought my car from Rossleigh in Stockton.

Albourneboy

I bought through tinternet broker who soured country for best quote. It turned out to be Marshalls and after that I have dealt solely with Marshalls.

All seems well since.... I suppose I could have done the leg work myself but am happy with the price I paid ( got £4431 off inc. vat price ) and 'twas less hassle, at the end of the day I am still dealing directly with a LR dealer, just one in Peterborough.

Roll on 3 pm!!

A good discount that considering the LR dealears aren't having to give away much at all when it comes to selling Discoverys!

Boy, is your day gonna drag - 3pm must seem like a week away still to you.
