2010 XS spec questions
I'm sure some of these questions have been asked before, but I can't find definative answers:
1. an XS with factory fit xenons does that include the fairy lights or not (and assume it definately does not mean adaptive xenons?
2. did they all come with the ipod connector, I know the connection lead was an accessory extra but was the socket in the cubby to plug the lead into standard?
3. premium leather, is that dealer speak or were two different leathers available on XS and if so is there really much difference/what is the difference?

Thanks for the reply. Your answer on the premium leather seems to imply that if premium leather is added as an option it comes with armrest and 'leccy seats as well if have I understood that right?

on the basis of what was said by dangerdave the picture from CDS looks like premium leather - but then it would be on that because it looks like a HSE (where premium leather is standard?)

Yep 'tis HSE
Had a look on LR used vehicles and every 2010 XS that has interior pics on seems to show the leather with the seam down the middle...

Having a 2010 XS and having very carefully looked at options at the time I can confirm that for this model:
- it came with the more robust leather seats with the seam and not the premium soft stuff without the seam.
- the seats are also non-electric on the XS
- neither premium leather, electric adjustment or armrest wre available as options on 2010 model (these have become options more recently) so you won't find any of these on a 2010 XS
- Factory fit Xenon were non-adaptive (adaptive were available as an option). Either Xenon version will have the fairy lights.
- And yes, iPod socket is standard and they charged a cheeky £25 for the lead. Go figure that one.
- Also, the reversing camera was not standard but an option. Well worth having if you can find it.

Thanks for all the answers - very helpful. Going to look at an zermatt/ebony 2010 XS on Sat. Its got xenons, privacy glass and sidesteps and 29k on the clock. Zermatt wouldn't have been my first choice (D3 was zambezi) but we shall see how good the deal is

Well the deal has been done, 2010 XS with 29k on the clock, hopefully to be collected on Friday. To say I am excited at the prospect of being back behind the wheel of a disco after 18 months away is an understatement!
Car has a few extras, notably privacy glass, logic 7 upgrade, grand black door inserts (both of which are presumably is the same as you would get in a HSE?) and reversing camera (although I didn't see it on the car but Topix says it was built with one ).
Haven't got it yet and already thinking about upgrades (and depleted bank balances......)
