Hi Biz,

I live in Liverpool so there's plenty of marine chandlers to hand - I just picked one from their odds and ends bin last time - about £5 I think.

I wouldn't submerse it (I'd been drowning if I did) but it's certainly been OK driving through fords etc. I also have a Sealey 36 LED lamp which my lad converted to plug in to the socket - a five minute job. I see no ships........

Cheers SB, was thinking of a socket high up, maybe by the aux battery box, so should withstand wadding...

Biz - my front socket is mounted just in front of the bonnet sealing rubber and well above wading depth.

If you want me to take a photo later on, let me know. I see no ships........
