^^ go for it! Buy one now. Or a Dolomite Sprint, always fancied one myself.

Like the triumph , Bow down

I had a 2500 estate auto , adored the thing , dad also had one with the manual overdrive switch

Then I had a 1850 then sprint , interior was really nice with the plush seats and dashboard

Always heard the injection pumps on the Pi can give grief

Also better keep away from ebay Whistle

Thumbs Up 1850 & Sprint, nice!
I've had this car 31 years, the mechanical injection system is not all that bad. It's what started my interest in fuel injection. It just got a bad rep when it was new, because the garages didn't understand it.

Many Thks, another reason I stay away from eBay Whistle

Also had a herald , then a 2 x litre vitesse , double headlight which I think was the mk 2

Dream motor is a TR6 , mate had one years ago and tuned it up, janspeed exhaust etc and Christ it went like stink

He then had a cosworth caterham , omg , that thing was seriously rapid and would eat a Porsche for breakfast Laughing

Something like this , can’t remember if he had turbos or not , think there a good £20k now
